God came down personally from Heaven for those who do not understand nor seek God.

1Jo 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

God laid down His life for those who do not understand nor seek God.

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

God sat down as the Son in Victory over sin and death and go-between for man and the Father.
