Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Love Your Wife

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Col 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

You are creating a pattern and model for how your children will live their lives as parents and mates.

Don't Expect Perfect Children

Col 3:21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Don't expect your children to fulfill your unfulfilled goals. 
* Accept your children
* Acknowledge their imperfections
* Love them in spite of their imperfections.

Enjoy Your Children

Ps 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Have fun with your chidlren.

The quality of time you spend with them indicates how important they are to you.
Don't give them the leftovers.

Provide for your Children

1Ti 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Don't rob your children of the blessing of ...
* Wanting
* Working
* Waiting
... for material things.

Providing too much
is as bad as
Providing too little

Train Your Children

Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Teach your children Boundaries - To respect authority
If they don't, they will become the authority in the home.

Pray for Yourself

1Ch 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

You need help.
You can't do it alone.

Pray for Your Children

Ps 55:17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Let God do for them what you can't
He loves them, too

Prepare Your Children

Pr 23:24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

Prepare them for Eternity by having a godly path for them.
