Salt of the Earth

Matt 5:13  "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

1. Salt Preserves
The salt of the earth is to take eternal preservation to the souls of men.

2. Salt Flavors
The salt of the earth is to enhance flavor in the lives of other saints and the lost.

3. Salt Cleanses
The salt of the earth is to cleanse the wounds of the backslidden and lost.

4. Salt Creates Thirst
The salt of the earth is to cause others to thirst for a saltiness in themselves.
